WIP - mistletoe

Today I'm uploading the rough pencil stage for a new watercolor illustration I'm working on for fun. When it's finished the final painting will be posted on my other blog.

It's probably worth mentioning that I made the ravens over sized on purpose, because they were getting a little dwarfed by Odin's fluffy beard. I'm sure that there's a Norse mythology buff out there who has guessed the significance of the title as well.

  1. I don't know that I'd call myself a buff, but I believe that it was the mistletoe that killed Baldur. ^_^

  2. Soooo pretty :) I've been checking out your drawings everyday via my google reader! It's been fun! :D :D

  3. Warwick: yes, that's it! :)

Rin: Yay! Thanks for watching. :D

  4. oo i like the look of this!
    hurrah for google reader

  5. Thanks, and thanks for watching!

Having a good feed reader certainly helps to keep up on all those art blogs.

  6. Oooh, there's always a weak spot for the norse mythology. Hey, it's like my home-mythology =)
